But at least this time i got them to guarantee me a new console instead of the same one getting repaired for a 3rd time now (im on my 3rd console, 3rd red ring with this particular one). Hopefully ill get one with a HDMI port:icon_bigg.

Haha! You believed them! Well, firstly, write down your serial number. They'll send you a refurbished unit I GUARANTEE - sometimes they just switch them over for one on the out pile, anyway. The sheet they send back should reveal all - although it can be annoyingly vague!

What, a 360? Have you tried your local games shop? :110:

The dodgy consoles - direct from the manufacturer, if you're prepared to buy 5000!

I've had mine for over 2 years now! And I use it all the time with no RROD! I taunt thee father of fate - Strike my XBOX DEAD!!!! OH:

Already 2 steps ahead of you:icon_bigg The first thing i did is write down the serial. even if its a refurb, im fine with it as long as i dont get this particular console back, this is the 3rd time this one has red ringed.
