Concidering it's running on modern hardware it looks bloody awful. Tokyo Bus Guid on the Dreamcast looks just as good. Saying that, if it captures the feel of bus driving it may be a good buy.

I know that driving a bus sounds very dull but Tokyo Bus Guide on the Dreamcast got the feeling just right which surprisingly made for a pretty good game. It's not only the bus physics that need to be right but also the road rules and traffic AI. This is what made Tokyo Bus Guide so much fun. It's more of a simulator than a game. I'm a sucker for driving simulators of all kinds.

There are lots of such simulators available here. They are usually found in the budget corner or at supermarkets... What they have in common is the low-budget look and the cheap price, but at least there is software in that genre and some of it sounds rather interesting ("Demolition Simulator" O_O Okay, you can do that in Power Shovel, too).

If anyone's interested I could grab some at the supermarket for retail price + shipping. I believe they cost about 10-15 Euro or so.

    Available at a first glance:
    Farmer Simulator
    Garbage Man simulator
    Reeperbahn Simulator (a strip-club sim I guess :p)
    Construction site vehicle Sim
    Heavy load transporter sim
    Digger sim
    woodchopper sim
    junk yard sim
    special vehicle sim
    ...
and here I lost my motivation :p

Don't forget the one series most relevant to this topic: Bus Simulator.

I can see why you lost your motivation though, I've tried some of them and they all sucked. Hard. Graphics were decent (German Truck Simulator actually had really awesome environments, design-wise), but the gameplay is nonexistant. They deliver on what they promise (NB: There's no mention of "fun" on the box afaik...) but nothing more. Might be worth a try due to the low price, Amazon has lots of used ones for €2-3 + €3 shipping.

Re: Graphics - Seems to be hit and miss, I just noticed BS2009 actually looks way worse than BS2008. So looking for some screenshots first is highly recommended.
