I don't see what's so holy about that piece of junk but that is of course personal, it's far from being a holy grail for me.

Too bad the seller has 0 feedback. :p Still that looks really awesome. I'm glad someone is into it enough to shell out the cash, I hope they take good care of it.

Yea... it's pretty much empty isn't it? I mean... sure it's kinda cool but .... hmm.. ah well... we each have our own holy grails I suppose ;)

i can't really understand how that thing can be some sort of "holy grail" to anyone... yeah, ok, to an Intellivision collector or something...
Personally I would call beta carts/disks of the 3 N64 Zeldas or maybe a finalized Commodore 65 "holy grails" but... that?

    People like what they like.

@xdaniel, you answered your own question dude, so in fact you can/do understand. Of course this only appeals to an Intellivision collector, what the hell would anyone else want with it? Whenever something goes for a lot of money on ebay people always try to dis. it.

umm... yeah, you're right... If i'd see a C65 final model or a OoT beta on eBay, i'd do everything I can to get them, just like Intellivision collectors try to get that keyboard component thingy ^_^"

a bit O/T, does any of you guys have a clue what the Toshiba MSX Music keyboard (HX-MU901 or something like that) sells for? I have heard it was released in very limited numbers in Europe, I picked it up boxed with a HX-10 MSX machine for 15e but since I have no games or disk drive for the MSX I'm looking to sell the whole shebang one day...

it was going to be it, but Commodore put the plug on it in 1992 afaik. Later, after Commodore went bankrupt, several prototypes - no exact numbers available i think, systems were in different stages of completion (sadly there is no known finalized system) - came on the market somehow and ended up in the hands of collectors...

btw: one of these protos is just an early mainboard + keyboard mounted on a wooden board XD

:smt043 lol expect to pay 10x times in shipping... the thing is HEAVY. I had to drag it around in its giant box all day, it came in handy as a battering ram to clear my way thru the plebes :p

  16. Further OT..

Funny, I have a Yamaha MSX model that includes all sorts of music/MIDI functions - maybe it's similar to that dealie you have, Anti? The funny thing is, I can't get it to start on my TV - all I get it some rather odd snow or something. The channel indicator jiggles whenever the keys are pressed, so I don't think it's dead... I may have to start a new topic about this..

GSL...how did you get your MSX...were any released in the USA?...or is it from Europe or Japan?

Edit: Cuz I swear...none were released here...

Edit Again: Wouldn't having one shipped to USA cost exactly one arm and a leg?

I agree with everyone, Intellivision holy grail what? Usually holy grails aren't expensive, if anyone with money could just buy a holy grail, what kind of holy grail is that? Seiken Densetsu for FDS is a holy grail.
