Hi all, Just found a PS2 DVD with a PAL beta version of Onimusha 3 (it's labeled PAL - v0.10 - 2004/04/08). Last discussions about this IP are antic (well, circa 2014) so I'm curious to know if some people are still interested in or if all has been dumped years ago. Cheers.
I'm very much interested in the Onimusha series. This unfortunately sounds like it is a translation beta, judging by the date. Still interested though. You planning on selling it?
Hi VerticalE. No clear plan yet for those from this area, sorry. I dug dozens of disks out recently, adding to the previous ones.
DEFINITELY interested I'm a big fan of the Onimusha series Any chance of some pics? Interesting to know what else you have?
Various old stuff and quite a few beta/preview discs. I also have two Onimusha 2 PAL PS2 discs but with no clear mention of the build version. I've stopped collecting more than 10 years ago so most are from this period of time, I would say '99 to 2004. My PS2 TEST units are in separate warehouse so unfortunately I cannot take pictures of their build before quite a long time. If you're interested in and not too in a hurry, I should be able to do that before Xmas. Happy to see there are some people remembering this IP. It was one of my favorite in those days.
Resi Evil, Devil May Cry and Onimusha all have the same style (they came from the same studio after all), so after playing Resi Evil 2 and falling in love with it, the other two titles were a natural follow up for me. Resi Evil has a massive fan base, but I've struggled to find other people interested in DMC and ONI. I have a Dawn of Dreams beta, but 1 and 2 were my favourites
DMC had its haydays and even a small cult following here. But I agree onOnimusha ; it is the poor relative and the too long forgotten one. Remember when every cool vg shop had this for sale? 10 years on and this is almost seen as junk. Sick sad sword.
I saw that on eBay for £100 I made an offer of £50 but he turned me down. 1 year later he still had it and was begging me to buy it for £40 So yeah, a shame for the series, but good for collectors
