From http://www.gameforms.com/news/?1150 Onimusha Soul Controller bound for US » Because functionality is boring. News | Thursday, April 8, 2004 | Muir Freeland [Staff Writer] Marking the first release from its upcoming North American division, Hori has announced plans to bring its wireless Onimusha Soul Controller to the US. The controller will be released simultaneously with Onimusha 3 on April 27th for a suggested retail price of $149.99, and is guaranteed to be stocked at EBGames, Game Crazy, EBGames.com, Gamestop.com, and Capcom.com. Fashioned after a samurai blade, it contains all of the neccessary buttons and analog sticks on its hilt, with the notable exception of the attack button. Attacks are instead performed by rattling the sword in what may or may not come off as a physical representation of the player’s on-screen attacks. The blade, meanwhile, serves a strictly decorative purpose. It can be detached from the hilt completely while playing, a feature which the in-game protagonist thankfully doesn't mimic.
