Most weather sites tell you about the weather and maybe the moon phases, sun rise and setting and maybe dew points and the like but only in Japan would you get nearly all the weather sites having a Sakura (Cherry tree) bloom map, where you can find out which major park with Sakura tree will bloom first.

It is frighteningly detailed with forecasts of when the blooms will be at their fullest and will start to fall off to which ones have let to bloom or have already bloomed.

If only Wales had a daffodil bloom map :lol:

I was in Japantown in San Francisco earlier in the week, a few sakura trees were blooming and holy crap were they the center of attention.

If you have a smart phone you can get the weathernews app which features about 12 different "channels" from pollen and Sakura to real weather and Tsunami warnings. It even has live cam feeds for many areas so that you can actually see the weather. The app is all in Japanese but a very good one to get, especially if you travel a lot. Oh, it's free too.

I've got the Weathernews App but I guess I got the shit version. I get temperature and chance of rain and one other thing but it's only current, AFAIK. No highs & lows.

Wonder if there's a fuuzoku app which shows cheapest blow jobs in town.
