How do you feel about that? Do you include these kind of skills/experiences? These questions are to people who have done works like writing game console emulators, exploits, hacks, and those kind of stuffs. Well, if you haven't done anything like that you can post your answer too but please tell me that you haven't done these kind of works.

Do remember that we do not live in the 90's/80's anymore. These days, doing these kind of works will get you sued to the ground.

Experience is experience no matter where it is. There are people who have made indie games on what would be considered equipment that have allowed them to gain experience and get there name out there. I've even talked to some people within industries that have mentioned the use of less than legitimate software to get the experience.
