A few years ago someone gave me one of these (link), but I just put it aside and forgot about it. I've come across it now and apparently it can play homebrew games, but I don't know how to get it to work. I've simply downloaded a game, formatted a micro SD card and stuck it in the root. Put it in and when going to the "Games Xtra" section it says No MicroSD card found. Unfortunately the official site www.i-cheat.co.uk doesn't seem to exist anymore and I can't find any info on it. There's an option to upgrade over wi-fi but that doesn't work either. So was just wondering if anyone else had come across these or had any ideas on how to get it to recognise the Micro SD card at least? I tried formatting both as FAT and FAT32.
Apparently like they go into a subfolder named 'nds': http://www.i-cheat.co.uk/games_xtra.php (archive.org). Or maybe your card is formatted wrong (2GB limit smells like FAT16-only)?
Thanks man! Managed to get it working. Seems like I was being a bit of a doofus and not putting the micro SD card in properly. Even though it clicked into place, it wasn't fully flush. Formatted the card and created the nds directory as per your link above, and downloaded the homebrew games they had on there and they work Thanks again!
