original gameboy games not loading

anybody know what could be wrong with one of the gb i own it powers on fine nintendo logo shows up fine it goes ding but after that the screen is just blank

anybody have any idea why this could be thanks

 

Clean the contacts with isopropanol.

 

In console and cartridge.

cleaned the gameboy and my carts and tested all my games and none load only the 2 bootleg ones with like 10ect games on them the menu loads but when i choose a game i get a blank screen

 

RAM problem?

 

how would i know if that is the problem

 

I have the same problem. Mine it's a play it loud version. I opened it and the contacts are clean. The pcb it's also clean, but surprise: it doesn't have chips, only glob tops.
