Original Sega Genesis model 1 came with an AV cable?

i was just wondering if the original first gen Sega Genesis came with the AV cable when it was introduced? Or just rf?

 

I believe the first release, the Altered Beast set from 1989 came with an RF adapter. It is referred to as TV Antenna Switch Box on later boxed releases. It doesn't look like the original US box has any writing on it as to what is included like the later box versions do.
