    Hey Guys,

I have a little trouble with my xbox when I turn it on it gives no video using composite cables.
When i use scart cables i have video but its scrambled go's up and down very fast.
At first i thought it was my scart connector on my TV so i replaced that one but after checking another xbox it worked fine. (needed to be replaced anyway but did not help my problem)

Don't know what to check for this problem, my xbox is open so it could be because something made a connection and then short circuit something...

Anybody got ideas whats wrong and where i need to check?

    Tia

Quick video of the issue would help. Try another TV, it may be the mode and resolution its set to.

Should be a button sequence while booting it to set it back to defaults, perhaps someone else can chime in.

Well after talking to my dad i gonna removing the xbox from the wooden case, reason i painted it black and maybe the paint will conduct.

Love to make a video but will not help. simply because there is a.t.m. no video.
But also no errors when i use my RGB composite cables to connect VGA, my monitor will not say check cable i can see that signal is active because the monitor keeps showing the analog symbol (VGA) but screen keeps black.

Also tried Composite video CVBS on another 14'' CVBS screen, black screen audio works can here the raw sounds when the xbox boots then evodash boots and i can launch coinops thats also why FTP still is working.

On the scart TV the original screen where i use my xbox for is scart. but already replaced the scart connector on the tv side and other consoles are working perfect that is also how i found out that my xbox is the source of the problem and all my other screens will not give any screen. There is a sync problem that is clear but its not on the software side of the xbox more on the hardware side.. Its xbox like all my xbox's are pal but this one did never got the upgrade to 720 or 1080p so its not a resolution issue.
But gone strip the xbox from its wooden case and test it tomorrow because its to late now for that.

Here are some pictures of the layout: but like i said gone try my dad's advice tomorrow.
I know it would not hurt the xbox to place it on a wooden surfaces...
Only i forgot that some paints will conduct electricity...

If the video is rolling you've got PAL or NTSC set opposite the display.

Some TVs won't accept PAL on NTSC and NTSC on PAL. What region is this XBox from and what region TV are you using? I know better to assume based on SCART alone these days.
