Other Dash on Xbox 360 Dev?

Works Avalaunch, XBMC or another Dashboard on a Xbox 360 Dev?

I dont know much about Dev 360s, but for retail xbox360s there is a seperate emulator type codec writen for each individual game..to optimize its performace...running another dashboard like xbmc thats made for the original xbox wouldnt run very well..or run at all for that matter.

There was a Dashboard among hackers that had added features and such, but it was only bootable wiht a demo/dev/test kit like yours.

i heard rumorus someone got Evo-X running, but why would you need to run any of these in the first place?

Well I could never get Evo-X but I did get other dashes to boot up but all in all its not a big deal.

 

Good, you can give me more informations? Which dashes? Patch the .xbe?

Well for one can your 360 play xbox 1 games,if than you need the xbox 1 compatibility installed.

Well than start experimenting,the only two dashes I ever got to run were Avalaunch and UnleashX,but like I said you can't really do anything with them.

 

The xbox360 emulates xbox games, they arent run nativelly.So getting things to run like Homebrew dashboards and so on Is hard and sometimes immpossible and if you even get them to run nothing works on them and if you try to get anything to work usually it just crashes.

 

i don't see the reasoning behind you wanting to do it so bad, but i couldnt give you any more info because i dont have it.
In my opinion the Xbox 360 launcher is the best dash ever
