heh it wouldn't load for me either until I saw what was on the right. I can't handle sports injuries. I hate it when they show the super slo-mo on US TV after they happen. I usually change the channel. But for whatever reason I can watch surgeries. We were watching football in the US once and some guy got his knee snapped sideways, so I changed the channel during the replays and my buddy was pissed off. I happened to change it to a channel that was showing a video surgery on someone's knee and they had it cut wide open. I thought it was cool to watch but my buddy couldn't handle it.
wasn't even that bad. Dude kicks the guy, his leg breaks ( I didn't even notice it) the other guy didn't notice because the dude DID continue to step back until he tripped on his broken leg. The other guy then pins him, and the announcers yell stop the fight. the ref breaks it up. you'd see worse on ESPN's Sports Injury shows.
Im pretty sure ive seen this before then. I definately agree, watch some skateboard ( or even better, BMX) balis if you really wanna see some sickening injuries
Worse if it had been a compound fracture. I remember watching some program about the emergency services in London. They regularly have to deal with cyclists who get thrown under the wheels of vehicles or pinned onto barriers. Anyway, this cyclist was looking very similar to that poor dude, but the whole of his foot was hanging off. What struck me was just how white newly exposed bones are! That does look pretty painful though. Ouch!
Yeah, although a friend of mine had a really bad BMX injury ( as have I, but none like this) where not only did he break his arm, but the rough concrete tore his arm up to the point where one piece of the bone was exposed. It was really white, with a little of a pink tint to it. Sorry if I grossed anyone out:icon_bigg. Nonetheless, it sucked hearing him going beserk the whole way to the hospital ( can you blame him?? I cant imagine how much that had to hurt! Ive broken bones, although not quite as bad, and that sucked horribly.)
Isn't it funny how we get in close and have a good look. My mate at school tripped coming down the school football pitch. We all laughed as he tumbled head over heels and then smashed his knee on the kerb (pavement). We all thought he was just being stupid, but when we got down to him he'd dislocated his knee cap and we could see right into it. Now that was gross! All the ligaments and tendons, lots of blood too. A right mess. All he could say was 'My Mums going to kill me for ruining my school trousers!' He never walked properly again after that.
not as bad, but I managed to sew through my finger (less then 1mm from going through the nail) using a sewing machine in school and another time I stapled my hand xD
