Unfortuantley im going to have to sell my sega engineered Fasted DC ever (TM) Link moved to the Ebay section. EBay links belong in the Ebay section. Especialy if you are promoting your own stuff Anyone got any questions, then jsut ask cheers Q
That would really interest me if it works with the VGA box as I don't have a PAL TV. Is there anyway to find out if that would work, also Joe, I remember seeing an old article on how to overclock the DC on some japanese web page, posted here on these boards, you might try search : )
overclocked I have a load of photos etc. It was a timely and costly experience, mainly as the DC really is fussy about the components. I will document it when i set up my Webpage sometime in December, but unless you are a professional electrician you will not be able to do it. cheers Q
Heres that article I told you about: http://www.assemblergames.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1507&highlight=dreamcast+overclocking
Been done? Wasn't it already overclocked by a Japanese guy who wasn't satisfied with its performance in Shutoko Battle? I remember someone posting the link a while back but can't fund it at the moment.
Re: Been done? Yes that's right. I remember reading that. He managed to make the Dreamcast play Shutokou Battle without slowdown. Something that I've always wanted :smt022 Yakumo
Wow, I'd try it...but I've already failed at the installation of 3 mod chips (2 DC and 1 Xbox). I think I'll give modding a rest for know... :smt043 :smt043
speed indeed, I have not noticed any slowdown on Tokoyo highway battle 2, obviousy runnign shenmue 2with n slowdown is a big bonus (running it next to my other DC the lack of slowdown is great). It was very hard to do, i used a mate who is a proffesional electrician, the Modchip stuff is so easy compared to this. You need to be able to make clean contacts on .25mm legs !!
Well I might end up doing this as I can always get some of my dad's assembly employees to do it if the going gets tough. Nothing like a professionally done mod...
