isn't pac-man vs a limited game cube game that was bundled with pac man world for a limited time/offer? if so, is it considered as a game cube collector disc? (like, let's say, zelda: ocarina of time/master quest and metal gear) did it came with a case or something? because i saw it with no box nor manual for 9.99 bucks, and i want to collect game cube collector / limited cds.
Yeah, i-Ninja and that Ridge Racer spinoff which was pretty horrible (and came out for all the consoles)!
Just to clarify, the 3 ways to get it were: Pacman Wold 2 with Pacman Vs. (Clearly shows both games on front cover; two disc case). R: Racing Evolution (Noted by a sticker on the outside of the plastic; two disc case). Pre-Ordering I-Ninja (These were given out in cardboard sleeves; I-Ninja is a single disc case).
so, i'm not missing something if i buy it? apart a different artwork for pac man world, right? is it still collector or something? can you still buy this game, or was it a limited offer or something?
The japanese version is a lot harder to get as it was only bundled in with the craptacular R racing evolution & it was disk only no sleeve for it. The most limited version was the club nintendo version which came in a card sleeve & had a full colour manual.
The Japanese version in the sleeve reminds me of the Ocarina of Time Japanese version I have. It's in a sleeve as well. Are all Japanese limited editions in sleeves?
you can't play without 3 gbas? i mean, if you have two gbs, then it's useless? and wasn't the japanese collector ed of oot came in a 2 discs tww box?
IIRC, I-Ninja never was released on GameCube in Europe, and IIRC Pacman Wold 2 didn't contain the disc here. Not sure about that last one though.
Tachikoma is incorrect i think he is confused with final fantasy crystal chronicles. Pacman vs only requires 1 gba as thats the one that has pacman on it. The other 3 players use the tv & joypads. As for japanese bonus disks they vary. some come just in a card envelope & some have full boxes & manuals, heres a list of all the ones i can think of. Legend of zelda ocarina of time bonus disk (came in a manual in a paper envelope) Zelda collection (came fully boxed with manual in a 2 disk box so you could store the previous bonus disk) Pacman vs (card envelope with manual) Tower of druaga (fully boxed with manual) Metal gear (fully boxed with manual) Pokemon collosseum bonus disk (card envelope) Biohazard 4 demo (came in a plastic envelope) Nintendo e-catalogue (card envelope)
that's a cool move, you can now protect your disk and have every zeldas (well, apart of the gb tittles, the cd-i horrors, and alttp ( ) )in one box.
No, I was on about the fact it's pointless playing it without 3xGBA's as it's a 4 player game, when you have the CPU playing as one of the ghosts it defeats the purpose of the game.
I see what you are saying but the fact is that you can only use 1 gba for pacman vs. You cant have 3 people using gba's the game dosent work like that it was only designed so whoever is controlling pacman isd the one holding the gba, I totally agree with you about the 4 player aspect, the game is incredibly fun with 4 players.
Anyone know about its relative rarity here in the US? I'm going to start looking through the R: Racing Evolution and Pac-Man World 2 cases at work and see if I can't find me a copy! Importaku, since you mentioned it, do you have any idea as to how much that Metal Gear Gamecube port goes for? It was only distributed with that Twin Snakes LE 'Cube set, right?
