My full Pal 32x cart set. (I do have the 4 cd games too, trust me) Hardly a collection to get the juices going admitedly, but it can be a pain to complete due to the price/availability of 3 games as you all know. All the games are new sealed (with uncut sticker) except the 3 clamshell games and AB, Fifa, Kolibri, Toughman and VF. Darxide is also signed by David Braben. (Thanks to Jamtex for that) Quite a few spares too as you can see. Shame I'd only consider 6-7 playable and only 3-4 worth playing!
I love it. The 32X is one of my favorite systems. TWO copies of Chaotix??? I was looking for a boxed copy of that for a year, if I still had my 32X I would offer you something for it.
Getting a sealed collection of a platform that has maybe the worst average gameplay value deserves respect  I have never seen a complete 32X PAL collection before due to the obvious reasons, not to mention a collection with all three ultra-rare games in SEALED condition. Such devotion to collecting is rare I think, kudos from me for that! But when are we going to see some recent pictures of your entire collection/room? I guess that would be even 10 times more impressive
Thats a Very nice collection. One of these days i'm gonna go for them (unsealed as i'd only open them), I'd rather buy the other Sega PAL games first though as TBH most 32X games are pretty dire. Except Kolibri, that's strangley cool and fun to play. Why the spares BTW? For playing so you don't have to open your sealed copies?
Nice collection, and not dull! I've only ever seen a complete collection in person the once. Getting them all sealed is quite an accomplishment, though! Well done! Will you be going for a complete, non-sealed set with all your spares? Oh, or maybe the French sealed ones? ;-)
Great stuff. 2 copies of Primal Rage and 2 copies of T-Mek!!?? Surely that's about 40% of the copies of each game known to exist!
I do have that too..but spread over 3-4(more?) boxes of stuff. Only 18, only 1 of which is vaguely htf. I do have a very old piccie though that'll make your eyes bleed. Gah, the horrible US style! I couldn't find Fifa at the time either otherwise the above is the 'traditional' world set. Pre-signing Darxide too. I won't bother with any more 32x though, Asian, Tec Toy etc. @ Retro...no, not going for a second open set. Hell no, too much crap. All I really want to get is an open Darxide as I do like that game, and the 5 cardboard games I still need sealed (3 of the 5 I have are new unused, but with cut sticker sadly, in VF's case in order to stick in a sodding Tips Hotline flyer). I'm not sure the 3 plastic case games ever came sealed..I've seen them shrinkwrapped but it doesn't say that all important 'factory' to me. Who knows? French sealed...not really my thing. Perfect for a PDS I have but that's it. I like shrinkwrap and pullstrips, sad f***er that I am. I'm basically 32x'ed out for life.
I think the fact that Sega chose cardboard style packaging makes collecting for 32X all the more fun and challenging! As you well know, to find complete boxed copies of T-Mek, Primal Rage, and Darxide are rarities in themself, let alone sealed copies! I woudl also say that more than 50% of the other games are also pretty hard to find mint complete these days too! I think the packaging is fantastic though, and it's just a shame that these games don't come with cellophane / shrinkwrap to seal & protect them. I'm quite anal about shop soiled cases and dog-earred boxes, and to me the sticker just isn't enough to entice me to start to collect 32X games, although it's always been something I have always wanted to do (Despite the fact that pretty much most the games are shit)! It's quite an amazing achievement, so don't think otherwise! It's a great little collection, and even better seeing as you have duplicates too which seem in fantastic condition! I agree with you though - There are only about a dozen games out of teh lot which I would ever consider playing, and of those only half of them I can actually see myself knuckling down and getting into rather than a quick half hour trial and back on the shelf... The 32X was quite underrated though, an a shame it had its life cut short. I imagine that somewhere there is a warehouse full of unsold 32X games which are believed no-one wants. I wouldn't be surprised if websites such as GamePlay have a hoard of such games like Virtua Fighter, Doom, Star Wars Arcade etc sitting around long forgotten about... (I still remember those 32X ads in the back of GamesMaster and CVG magazines back in the day!)
