PAL dev kit with NTSC power?

You can set the kit to ntsc,ntsc-j and pal.And yes a ntsc psu will work just fine.

 

yea as Far as i know XDK's arent region bias So any devkit will work anywhere.

OK, I am getting increasingly nervous as I read more and more posts about how the XDK requires the 213W power supply for the sidecar. I know that the power supply mine is coming with is at PAL voltage levels. It is NOT coming with a sidecar, so do I still need 213W? I found a guy on eBay that is selling two NTSC 213W PS's, and wondering if I should grab them before they are gone.

 

It's not wattage that matters its the extra amperage that you need to run the sidecar.

...A standard 'retail' psu will not power up the sidecar, no matter what voltage you input.


Edit - my bad, I missed read your post, I missed the important word that you used ie NOT coming with a sidecar, lol --- In other words ignore what I wrote.
