So i just got my PAL GC to use with the CGA/VGA Scaler over RGB, but... no picture.

Im using the same Sacrt cable used on the Snes/N64, so i know the pinout are the same.

Does I need to wire something to the wire or modify the GC to it outputs RGB signal? or it have the composite in another pin?

A PAL GameCube works with RGB out of the box with no modification from the AV port (as you may know, the NTSC GameCube does not - you may want to double check the console is working properly with PAL games and you haven't been sold a lemon).

Also, you're right that a SCART cable has the same pinout as a GameCube one, including the same pins for RGB and composite. However, in a SNES SCART cable there are resistors on the RGB lines to reduce the brightness ( http://members.optushome.com.au/eviltim/gamescart/gamescart.htm#snes ). I don't think your scaler should have an issue with that, but it could happen.

Anyone else with possible suggestions, outside of 'check it with another set of cables'?

The first thing i though was it had swap boards, i dont have any PAL games, tested with some NTSC games and they dont work, so i guessing its PAL. It simply show that the disc cannot be read, so not sure if the lens are bad or if its the usual message if nots a PAL game.

EDIT: just tested the laser drive in another GC, working fine, so its indeed a PAL GC

My scart cable have caps inside in the RGB to put brightness down.

Im thinking if the GC would need some signal to Output RGB, a certail voltage in some pin from TV and such, as my converter only has wired the RGB, composite and audio pins.

Or maybe its laking GRND in another pin...

after searching around, i think this is whats missing

Maybe if I add the 75ohm res and the 220u cap to the composite it will work

Just soldered the cap and res to the composite vid, that was indeed the problem, just need to fine tune it now, as I didint use the exact ones needed.

EDIT: After messing around a little more i discovered the cep wasnt necessary, just the resistor grounding the Composite Video.

That was pretty quick, i guess i can leave this topic here for a future reference to someone.

Just have to figure out how to remove the diagonal lines.
