PAL Gamecube RGB to VGA mod?

    I get that... it's just not as easy as with an analog signal, where you connect red output with red input, green output with green input, etc.
    Have a look at the GameSX link with the DigitalAV pinout, and Wikipedia with the HDMI connector ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hdmi ). And there are even electrical differences, so you can't really link them together.

    I must be lucky to have a gamegube vga box works with my n64 snes in vga.

    VGA boxes that accept composite inputs are ten a penny and will work with anything. I used to have one from HMV that cost £30 and it did a job, but the quality is nowhere near what you'd get from a native video source.

    Using the RGBHV signal from the Gamecube DAC will produce a noticeably clearer image, although it would look even better if run through a decent upscaler first.

    Picture quality is the easy way to how it operates. composite will have that distinct fuzz.
