After recieving my Megadrive RGB stereo cable i decided to do the 50/60hz Switch mod.
    I used this guide.
I`m confident the soldering was done correct as i have a fair amount of experience with modding consoles.

Now here is the problem :

The colors are all wrong in 50 or 60hz mode.
Both the 50 and the 60hz mode seem to be working fine in speed and screen size.
These colors appear on my LCD HDtv.
On my CRT the 50hz looks fine and the 60hz is displayed black and white.

the problem is your cable, not the 50/60 mod. what cable are you using? the official one?

    Thanks i`ll look into that.

Turn out on my crt I used the scart without RGB.
When plugged into one of the other scarts with RGB its the same wrong colors as on the lcd.

    now to find my multimeter.

It's simple; red and green are swapped (lol).

Cant find my multimeter but im sure your right.
I mailed the ebayer, its probably just a wrong soldered wire.

I can probably fix it myself but she glued the scart shut :)

if the scart is glued, maybe you can open the genesis connector and invert red with green.

if you have an led ,a battery and a100/200 ohm or so resistor and a couple of bits of wire, you could make a simple tester .One end of the wire to the scart pin and the other to the pin in the md's din plug. The led lets you see if the connections are good or not.

Nah,you're wrong. It's because it's not a MONSTER rgb scart cable !No OF cable, individually screened or even the magical gold plated doings ,obviously that's the real reason for the failure.

There are only 9 in them they just swapped 2 pins.

Anyway i contacted the seller and she immediately replyd that she`d post a new one that very day.
So its settled, dont know if she wants the old one back though.

Yeah, if green and red need switching then you just need to switch pin 7 and 11. I'd desolder myself but I think switching pins is possible.

Okay so i`ve switched the red and green pin in the scart plug after forcing it open.
    Now the colors are fine.

But now it looks like my Crt tv cant handle the 60hz even though the tv handles ntsc.
And on my LCD the screen is chattering ( or whatever you call it ).
