Hey guys what would ya'll say the best and worst rare PAL playstation one games are? We're talking hard to get, not just expensive. Everyone can say Suikoden is rare but if you REALLY want it you can get it if you pay.

I'd say one of the rare ones is SAMURAI SHODOWN III you never see it on UK eBay. Note how i say UK eBay.

Jumping Flash???? How many of them have I seen? LOADS!

Umm, well there are lots of rarities. One that springs to mind for me would be that charity pack, i think called Help. It featured Broken Sword and some other games. Don't see it much now.

It took me a year or more to track down a copy of Twisted Metal 2!!! I loved that game. Twisted Metal pops up quite a bit now, and 2 but don't see it so much.

Bishi Bashi Special again is getting a little scarce, again a good game.

Oh, and tracking down a copy of Omega Assault for someone is proving very difficult!!! (and some other games, surprisingly, as most were budget).

These aren't exactly expensive games, just don't show up that often... around here at least. (saying that a copy of TM2 is £16 on ebay with nearly a day left, oh and 2 Jumping Flash for £1 each btw!).

OK here are some games on ebay for high prices... anyone want to comment on how good/bad?

    Star Ocean: The Second Story
Bubble Bobble + Rainbow Islands (classic, but £55??)
    Suikoden
    Suikoden 2
    Kula World
    Tombi 2
    The Raiden Project
    Galaxian 3
    Vib Ribbon
    Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
    Diablo
    The Legend of Dragoon
    Azure Dreams
    Chocobo Racing
    Namco Museum vols 1-3
    Darkstalkers 3

Those are all the games I found listed about £25 - whether they had bids is another thing!!

Not super rare, but just great :

    Gungage.

I looked at the box in GAME for like 2 years, couldnt find jack about it, just mere screens on the back & by Konami.

One day someone actually bought it, I thought it was a figment of my imagination.

Lucks out it popped up again 6 months later, had to have it.

It's great, like the best Saturn game Konami ever made for the PSOne.

Bubble Bobble isn't as rare as you'd imagine. I have sold several copies across the world on eBay and the auctions haven't gone above £30. Plus each copy i bought was second hand from Game and so only cost me £4.97. Awesome. Star Ocean the Second Story is mega rare. I lucklily got mine from UK Amazon for £10 but have never seen one second hand in shops.
Kula World is a classic and very expensive game. I got my copy for only £13 but its without instructions.
Got Namco Museum 1,2 and 5 as well loving those, they did skin me around £20 each tho.

No one has mentioned SHADOW MADNESS and ETERNAL EYES. I own Shadow Madness but have never saw a second hand copy and few appear on eBay too.

Hmm, my friend lent me Suikoden 1 & 2 last year and seems to have forgot about them. And I didn't know they were that rare - he did manage to buy them in Ireland after all! Maybe I'll just, *ahem*, forget to give them back...

    OK, I'm not that mean.

How much does Bishi Bashi Special go for these days, actually? I rented it for a week when it came out - and that was one crazy week! Of course by the time I had money to buy it, it was gone forever! Game kept it at £30 for as long it was on the shelves...

Bishi Bashi goes for about £10-15, bit cheaper if you're lucky

What about Gundam Battle Assualt 1 & 2? I didn't see much of them, and very much doubt anyone bought a lot. Though saying this they're going for about £2-4 on eBay.

And Front Mission 3? That's also one of those games I only realised I wanted after it disappearing off the shelves.

What actually happens to copies of games like that which sell like complete ass? I very much doubt they actually sell al their copies - I remember my local Game had loads of copies of RC de Go! when it was released, for some reason beyond common sense. Not exactly the best seller EVAR, but now they have none of them...
