PAL SNES 1Chip 50/60hz mod problem.

Hi !

I recently buy a pal snes 1chip and done the 50/60hz + lockout chip switch on it (manual switch mod )

Everything seems to be ok except one thing : in game , lockout disabled , when i switch 60 to 50 it's ok but when i switch 50 to 60 the screen goes completely scrambled (like loosing sync ) and resetting don't fix it , i need to turn off/on the snes then it work again in 60hz.

I've done this mod a long time ago on my 2 ppu snes and it work perfectly in any case (hotswitching 50 to 60 , 60 to 50 )on the same crt tv .

I know the 1chip snes isn't working exactly like the 2 ppu so maybe is it normal ? or something is wrong with my mod ?

 

to switch between 50 and 60hz in the one chip snes you need to add a ntsc crystal in your switch (double row 2 positions switch)

 

My mod was correctly done with 2 crystals , the problem was elsewhere but finally fixed , it was the wires length , crystals are sensible to this .
