I hear alot about the M2 from time to time and people going crazy to get their hands on the development kits and prototypes of it. Btw are those kits actually playable... anyone find any prototype games to use. A lot of sites seem to talk about people having the kits (assmeblers included), but I've heard of some having playable games.... Any truth to this? any good media sites on it.. Heck if there were at least 5 games playable on that thing. that'd make owning one pretty damn cool. I mean as cool as a SNES CD is... how much cooler would it be to have a unreleased game system and unreleased games that can only be played on that system... I know D2 was basically completed. Was it found?
I remember someone telling that he has a copy of the m2 d2 and will release it in a century or what...but as always that kind of stuff remain at the collectors hands:-(
I have 2 demo disks for the M2. Might be two different versions of the same demo. Its possible it was an early stages pack in demo disk. I don't have an M2 so its hard to say whats on them.
A few people have expressed interest in buying these but they are MIA right now. As soon as they turn up I'll be sure to pass on what you have said and let whoever buys them handle it.
only stuff i know and have seen and would be working are the arcade games and the car dealer discs some little demo stuff should be on the sdk discs and the freedo developer mentioned some time ago he had several betas to my mind come now at least imsa racing this is like 2 years old when i was starting my media collection on the 3do m2 gotta put in the new images i found and scan some magazines when i find time imsa racing http://zappenduster.7sky.de/3do-m2/software/games/3do-IMSA-World-Championship-Racing/IMSA-Racing.html power crystal http://zappenduster.7sky.de/3do-m2/software/games/perception-power-crystal/Power-Crystal-001.html
That's pretty amazing that the FreeDO guy has these games.... Makes me wish he make a M2 emulator and released those games. I mean those power crystal shots are amazing. If he has a working copy I'm impressed. PS: The thumbnail of this isn't linking to the enlarge version. This screen look particularilly interesting... do you think you could link it to a enlarged version?
will be up in a moment uploaded the wrong image then i think on freedo iam not sure on his possesions i mean he did seem to have much knowledge on the subject of content of the betas but never could prove me anything with pictures and etc...
The Freedo guy and I once were negotiating to exchange one of my Revision H M2 dev boards (he told me his burned up) for copies of all his software/games on CD-R. He got spooked and negotiations fell through, but he told me he had those games up and working on an FZ-35 M2 unit, which would be great if it's true.
Strange he'd get spooked... but, would you have released the games to the public. But, obviously you wouldn't have released the games if you'd got them, with you having to trade that dev board. Its a shame for u though. As having a M2 is one thing, but having games to play on it is a whole new ball game
same thing happend to me now he has a copy of my battletryst and i have nothing... kinda an easy way to gather stuff but scams like this happen all the time
i wouldnt say everything got lost or destroyed since we never will know for sure what treasures are burried in someones cellar or garage
