I just purchased a non-working Panasonic Q I intend to fix up. The black plastic parts in the DVD drive are all busted up (disc tray, little feet, and side parts for the drive housing). Does anyone have any idea where I can get replacement pieces and/or a replacement DVD drive? I'd really love to fix this thing up and get it running again. Thanks in advance.

I think this drive was bespoke, and any spare parts are most likely NLA by now. Depending on the severity of the damage (and no missing bits), it is possible to superglue it back together. I had a similar problem with one of these, and although I was careful gluing it, the drive still got stuck and had to be aided manually. Other than that, it worked fine!

Yeah I've been working on piecing what's left of the drive back together using plastics adhesive. The only problem is that I'm missing like 40% of the plastic from the tray. :(

I dont know if you fixed it, but using POXIPOL, you can try to mimic and restore the missing parts, that "playdough" can be shaped and afixed to the remaining parts, once its hard, its basically a strong plastic
