Out of curiosity, who is lucky enough to own one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Panasonic-Q...314?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19f948968a
I owned one of these about 5-6 years ago. Bought it for around $200, came complete with box, literature, and software. Still regret selling it with the Q. I was desperate to make the down payment on my Mustang. I didn't have any Japanese games to play on the system, but the NTSC GBA games worked fine with the player if I recall correctly. In the end, I sold it all at a loss. While I'm kicking myself today, if I had it all to do over again, I'd probably do the same thing. I was a broke college kid getting my dream car, and money was hard to get when you needed it quick!
I'm suprised why they even made a Game Boy player for the Panasonic Q. I mean the Panasonic Q was very expensive and it didn't sell a lot of units. This is a very cool collectors item.
I have one I got my Q back in 2009 in Japan from a forum member, who used to live there at the moment. It was boxed and brought as an extra the manuals for the GB player, but didn't have the GB player itself. Got the GB Player loose in 2011, also from another forum member, as part of a bundle of a second Q that was for a friend, he just wanted the Q so I payed my part for the player and a second Panasonic Gamecube controller Fortunately, I got both the Q and the player very cheap, compared to the prices they go now.
2008 Mustang deluxe, V6 in dark candy apple red! Basically the base haha. But it's my pride and joy, was a repossessed car with 5890 miles on the odo. Still have it, now with over 130,000 quality miles.
Nice low # PS4! Congratulations. I think the grey color and novelty is truly refreshing. Awesome setup you've got there! Looks like a fun ride! I rly wanted the GT at the time, but college strapped me for cash. i got denied at multiple banks for a loan, but got an approval for the V6 under the condition I pay 10% down on the vehicle. I frantically sold a lot of stuff, including that Panny Q and GBA player set I had, to gain $2600 (basically, 10% of $13000 which was the negotiated sale price). In the end, I sold it all for moderate loss, and still ended up borrowing $200 from parents, and overdrawing ~$100. Suffice to say, I paid the car off last year, so I may be looking at a sweet new ride. Not that anyone is interested, but I bought the Panny Q to try and convert to play NTSC games, and at the least play region 1 DVDs. Never converted it, and couldn't find the disc to change the playback region, but I did get the GBA player for it, which made it semi useful. I only had one Japanese GameCube "game," a Phantasy Star Online: Ep1&2 network trial that ended long before I got the Q. Every time I popped the disc in, it would load then come to a screen with a message in Japanese, and I couldn't get beyond that. Frustrating. Always figured I'd buy the system and player again when I had the money, but never did.
