    Ok, a few questions.

I'm told that 1049 were made, is that accurate?

Were they all numbered? If so where? Sounds silly I know but I just got a new one and can't see a number on the case where I thought it was meant to be ie front panel top right side. Am I mistaken thinking they were numbered? (or just being unobservant and stupid)

Did they all come with the necklace and game as standard?

    Thanks all.

Edit ..re the number..on the sticker on the top of the box it says

SKU: F23 - 00122 (also repeated on the back) and then has LOT No. 0247

Does this mean its no 247?

(Sorry for the idiotic qs..my interest is like an itch that must be scratched)

The Panzer Dragoon Orta Xbox is limited to 999 pieces. It was sold at Segas D-Direct online store in japan only.
I heared that there were 50 more units produced but i don't know if there were given away in a contest or something like that.

The console is not numbered! You've mistaken it for the pure white second anniversary edition console which is numbered on the lower right side at the top of the case.
Maybe you could relate something like a number from the S/N of the console. E.g. i had a torchic orange GBA SP with 001750 (of 2000 made) and the automobile color edition PS2 consoles have also straight S/N (first 000666 japanese, the US, the PAL). I'll check mine tomorrow and will tell you my nr.

A complete PD Orta Xbox bundle comes with console, matching controller, all regular cables and instructions, necklace, HDTV pack and a LE of the game (with soundtrack CD).
Did you notice that it has a prototype DVD-Rom built in? Just open the lid and look from the downside - you'll notice a prototype inprint. Very cool!

EDIT: Nevermind, I was under the impression this was about the game.

We're talking about the white japanese limited edition "Panzar Dragoon Orta" Xbox bundle - not the game. :)

Thanks GZ, that's brilliant info. All I need. I'll check the serial number later and see what's what if anything.

Its a lovely console. (Seller if you read this:thumbsup:). I won't be opening it though, so I'll have to pass on the DVD proto imprint.

Weren't the extra 50 due to a defect? This came out during the 8month period that to me, games equalled PSO, and nothing more. :)

The extra 50 were because of demand, but there were more made in case of defect. Hard to tell how many were produced, but 1050 were sold.

I've the same SKU and Lot No. on mine.

    My S/N ends with xxxxx3220502
Would be nice if you could check yours. If it matches but the last three digits you (possibly) would have your number.

    Hey there

I have pics of a new one and all the trimmings here:

    http://www.japan-games.com/Database/images/XBOX/Panzer_Dragoon/index.htm

If you scroll about halfway down you'll see how everything was packaged. The game and strap were outside the XBOX box and inside the shipping box.

I don't think there are any serial numbers, but I cuold be wrong about that. I have one for sale now...I can check it out.

I remember Iggy. IIRC, he was just a regular member here, but I guess his account got deleted since he hadn't logged-in in 100 days...
