I've seen several different versions of the Partner 64. I was wondering if anyone knew the differences between the black and blue versions? Are there more versions? If there is a big difference I hope the Blue one will work for N64dd dev. If not i need to track down a black one.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

Does anyone know if a Partner 64 will play retail games? My new blue one seems to power up. But that is as far as I can get. Also does anyone know if the access light on a 64dd dev should light up when the partner is turned on? I need to make sure these work.

I've searched this site and quite a few others but can't find this info. My 64dd dev manual seems to be useless ass well.

I still need a flash cart if anyone has one!

    Edit:
I'm talking about the 64 system. I have a blue one but am wondering if I need a black one. I'm also wondering if it will play retail games. Because if it does this one seems to be broken. I need a working system before I can attempt anything.

Assembler so a Blue Partner64 should play retail games? US or Jap? I can't get it to load anything onto the screen.

if your talking about the 64 system itself, i won a black one with black plastic molding on the inside of the cartridge port and it plays my japanese games perfectly fine as well as us one if i take the back off(i won it off a guy who was a tester for midway here in san diego and was getting rid of it, got it for a steal but without the dev cartridge itself) or are you talking about the dev cartridge itself? Cause i dont have the dev cartridge, but i can take pics of my 64 unit if you want.
