Hello oxbox Community. I was wondering if we could solve a little puzzle I thought during my free time today. Does anyone know what the manufacture date is on the Partner Xbox console? Is it 2002-12-12 as stated in the Xbox Wiki? I'm just curious as I was trying to figure out why this console would come with a controller S instead of a Duke unless it was made after Feb.22nd 2002. (when the japan launch consoles were made/ first circulation of controller S controllers)
There are two dates for them so far that I know of, 2002-12-12 and 2002-12-13. Mine was made on the 13th. Also from what I know they came in the first release bundles the Xbox were sold in that had the S-type controller.
Ok that works then. For some reason in my head I thought the Partner editions were made the same time as the launch consoles. (which would mean duke). But if it's in Dec. 2002, then the controller S was already stateside so it would make sense a controller S would be with it.
