Are there any good BIOSes that support LBA48 that were made by patching existing BIOSes instead of modifying the leaked source code and recompiling? I am asking because I think it'd be cool to soft-mod a Debug Kit I have by dropping an xboxrom.bin on its hard drive. I can make such a file if I know the patches I need to do to xboxkrnl.exe. I understand the boot loader sufficiently.
