I have an Evil Night games with a bad timekeeper rom. I have been trying to patch the CD to remove the ROM check, but am having issues. I am able to pull the iso and wave files off the disk, and reburn them. I have used windowskillers patcher on the iso, but it does not remove the ROM check, as far as I can tell.

Can anyone point me the right direction on this?

Yes, I just had mine repaired, sent it out to the guru, I bought a ram time keeper chip and sent that with the boards, he reprogrammed the ram chip desoldered the old one and put the newly programmed one in and its working like a charm, here's a pic of my newly fixed board up and running. the rtc check doesn't come from the disc, the disc just tells it where to look, the check itself is programmed into the hardware. so you'd have to find an sram programmer to do the same for you.
