Patrick Star Ps2 Controller on PC?

    Fun problem for the day:
    I have a Patrick Star Ps2 controller back from when i use to play the Ps2. I went to a garage sale and picked up a Ps2 to PC adapter for like 5 bucks. with a quick internet search I found the drivers for it but it only works with my generic sony controller. Is there any way I can get/(make?) drivers for the controller?

    Why not just use one of those generic ps2->USB adapters?
