I'll put it here since the discussion was removed from the marketplace thread (rightfully so). This is a pet peeve of mine and is for the people who keep trying to pass on Paypal fees to the buyers: (From Paypal's User Agreement): I do not know if this is the same for ALL Paypal regions (I would be surprised if it isn't though), but for the US sellers, stop passing the buck. If you don't want to take the hit in fees, either don't take Paypal or raise the base price.
Paypal is not a bank, so they are in a gray area more or less on how they can charge fees and handle customer issues. If you have $1000 in your paypal account and they have a server outage and your amount disappears from it, they are not really responsible for that loss. A bank is, but not paypal.
I thought your response was fine. Or both. I just mentioned the marketplace thread in case someone thought I was repeating myself. :icon_bigg
Pay pal fees really bite. Also, there protection scheme is a big scam. Allows buyers to rip off sellers. I have heard some real nightmare stories.
