I got my Qanba Q4RAF about a week ago and the best time I've had with it so far was playing Super Star Soldier on my PS3. It was the best experience I'd ever had playing any PC Engine games (Emulated granted but none the less) But that got me thinking about the PC Engine it self and it's accessories. I don't imagine it ever got a stick that good but what do I know. So PC Engine Buffs tell me about the accessories the PC Engine had, Educate my ass.

Yeah I COULD google it, but the insight always is lacking when I do that.

Not really. Considering you've been a member here since 2007 (and still looking for a spoon-feeding!?), at the very least you could have posted this in the PC-Engine forum. You know, where everyone eats, sleeps, and talks PC-Engine all day. Dare I say, the place where you might have the slightest chance of being spoon-fed?

No need to be cheeky about it. Time to disappear for a few months again

How would our elaborations be any different from people who already wrote about the topic in depth on other websites? PC-Engine has been covered in all facets.

    You're right that you're wrong :p

Like almost every other hardware of the time, PC-Engine got a variant of the amazing Micomsoft XE-1 stick, featuring flexible button layouts, 4/8-way stick options and freely adjustable autofire with LED indicators.

Best stick of the era, and I think it's the best arcade stick out there that doesn't use arcade parts.

That's a cool site, but why are the images so damn tiny?

How dare someone promote discussion on a... discussion forum.

The 2 button controller schematic is pretty straightforward. You can probably build a stick for PCE pretty easily.

That stick is absolutely awesome, only ever had the chance to use the XE-1st2 on the megadrive. Hori had a couple of other sticks for the PCE, the hori stick multi, PCE fighting stick.

I think I've said it before, but you really need to grow thicker skin, especially considering you were a dick to jp. in the Strider thread. If you can dish it out, then you should also learn to take it.

    Cause it's super ancient! haha

His ebay auctions are often overpriced, but lingjr knows his stuff and he shared a lot of pictures on the web at a time when there weren't too many resources for info on very obscure hardware.
