PC Engine IFU RGB Mod?

I'd rather just use a Genesis 1/2 wired DIN connector. I used to like installing discrete composite and S-Video connectors but it got ridiculous when the thought of component entered the picture.

 

Hi everyone! New to the forum here! Following this thread a lot as it's helping me make some decisions on whether or not to jump in on the ifu-30 cd-rom2 arena. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question. I have an rgb modded pc engine. If i buy a non-rgb modded ifu with cd-rom2 and system card, do I need to to an additional rgb mod to the ifu to view disc based games in rgb?? Thank you so much for your time and attention!

no, you dont need an additional mod. you just need to get video from your pc engine and sound from the IFU.
