so... trying to fit an RGB mod from Mickcris on the pcenginefx boards (I think he's on here too.. if so HI!!! :D)....

audio jacks still work too!! [IMG]

I get perfect audio to the TV / framemeister but have zero video... i used this link to copy from - https://translate.google.co.uk/tran...m/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7231&edit-text=&act=url

    translated from french...

I seem to be missing something as I can't work out what the difference is... other than the 5v went to the amp rather than direct to the cable...

the jack is wired as so...

this was so i could make a direct wire to wire to connect it to the framemeister... but as i discovered i don't have a second framemeister in my workshop... and the other one is about 10 miles away it's a pain to go backwards and forwards to test... i decided that as i was going to cut a scart lead so that i had enough wires i might as well make a scart lead first...

what am i missing? does there need to be a direct 5v to the scart too??

    Thanks!

Input from the machine on the left... output to the TV on the right...

If I want to put this schematic on a scart cable, the +5v and ground on the output side is taken from the input ?

No... taken from the console... which was the issue I was having... also... it's a bit easier to put the gubbins inside the ifu casing as there's plenty of room rather than trying to squeeze it into the scart plug...

I want to build this schematic for a pc engine console, that's the reason I want to put in on a scart plug.
So in this case I don't supply the cable with 5v and ground?

Yes you still need to supply 5v and ground to the cable...

In this case I get it directly from the console itself?

Yeah... I'd suggest going to pcenginefx.com as I'm not sure where you would take them from...
