PC-engine RGB mod + Mega Drive 2 scart question (schematics)

Hello! I've got a schematics question about an RGB mod that I'm going to do. It's a PC-engine, and my plan is to use a mini-DIN9 connector so I can use my Mega Drive 2 RGB scart cable. I've attached an image to show you my question:

I have the original schematics for the RGB mod, but since the MD2 RGB cable already includes a 75 ohm resistor and a 220 uF cap, I don't need them in my mod. However, I'm unsure how this affects my schematics. Is alternative 1 or alternative 2 in my picture the correct way to wire things up?

The mod also includes sync, but that's not affected here obviously.

I've already got all the parts, and I know there might be easier and/or better mods out there, but this is the one I'm sticking to Thanks!

 

That looks like the old schematic (way) about doing the RGB mod for the PC-Engine/Turbo Grafx 16. The new way involves a THS7314 amp. It was covered in a thread somewhere around. Apolloboy posted the schematics for it too.

 

Thanks! However that was not my question. Like I said, I know there might be better mods out there but this is the one I'm doing. The question was, based on the information in my OP and picture, is alternative 1 or 2 the correct way?

 

Definately not 2, you don't want to ground your video pins.
