PC engine White Screen

Hello everybody, could anyone help me with a pc engine issue?

Recently, I bought a pc engine as is. To perform some tests, I just soldered the pins of EXT board to a regular AV cable to get some image on TV.

If I put any hu card , I just got white screen output.

There any kind of repair to perform to fix that? Thanks in advance.

 

That means a dirty connector just use the card trick with a coffee filter works wonders with some contact cleaner. Can be bad hu card to i have stuff here i could try for you.

 

Make sure you aren't mixing up USA HuCards and Japanese HuCards. They can't be used interchangeably without converter or switch hack.

 

My workin pc engine show white screen when no hu card is inserted.

 

I had a faulty Core II unit which was just like that. Unfortunately the only thing that fixed it was replacing the C6270 chip... :\

And for that an White PC-Engine had to die. -_-;
