Yeah i saw this but theres nothing in there to delete. Nothing new . I redownloaded google chrome, that stopped all the unwanted sites being loaded. Say im not browsing any site, im not on google chrome and i still get unstopp.me trying to connect. Avg can not pinpoint where it is on my system.
Get Malware Bytes and run that https://www.malwarebytes.com/ Its free and has a paid service, but you get a month of premium for free too.
I would also try Malware Bytes, other than that I always create a Clonezilla image of my clean install of Win or Linux with all the drivers, updates and programs I use regularly, if anything happens I just reimage
https://www.hitmanpro.com/en-us/hmp.aspx Hitman has a bootable usb version that helped me numerous times when nothing else would.
Sleeper backdoor app, will randomly go looking for the next payload to download. Some sit deeper than the OS itself, I'd fdisk or replace the disk before installing a new OS. Surf safer, download more carefully and do your random stuff in a VM.
He means if you are doing something "risky" that might get your computer infected, do it in a virtual environment first
Fresh install. I don't bother cleaning anything, it's a waste of time. Infected = shit happens and instant fresh install. Instead of spending hours reading and trying to clean up while most of the time you end up reinstalling/re-imaging anyway.
Don't need to delete everything either - just nuke the whole thing by deleting the old partition and install Windows back there. On the bright side, this will give you a clean OS to use. One which surely isn't damaged by malicious software.
