Windows xp professional isn't bad, it's actually the only version of windows i actually like.

I have never had problems with it which is more then i could say about windows 98 that needed re-install every 6 months due to the registry gettin slow/fucked up and windows 2000 which was shite at games and multimedia.

Even with all it's flaws, Windows XP Professional is the way to go. If you want a Windows OS that is.

By the way, anyone using SP2? All those programs not working with SP2. They solved that problems?

  4. Melty Blood apparently doesn't work with SP2 but Windows 98 compatibility mode (and probably 2000 also) fixes it. I imagine using that's the case for a lot of things.

I run shitty Windows 98 SE but also have Windows XP Pro. The only problem being that Windows XP Pro is the English version which won't run well on a Japanese PC. All the keyboard options are screwed even after changing the main language to Japanese. It also has conflicting software with the Japanese Bios. Now if someone would like to throw a Japanese version of XP my way I'd be most greatful :smt045
