I can get a boxed complete PC Engine Duo for 75e, which is quite remarkable considering anything PC Engine NEVER turns up in this country. I think it's a nice opportunity to get one without paying extensive shipping charges, but I thought I'd check here first to avoid the "omg you suck I bought it at <website x> for $40" stuff
Go for it, it is quite a good price, especially boxed. Sounds like 10 years ago when I got a supergrafx for 50e and 1941 and Battle Ace brand new, each for 10e. Sabre
Buy, buy, buy. That's a great price, even better if its in good condition (ie with all the inside bits such as the separate accessories box that goes on top etc). Check it out first though as duos often have cd issues if they haven't been looked after too well. I was offered some really cheap ones a while back (£30 a pop)..turns out they were cheap as they wouldn't load cd games)
Well according to the seller (who is a pretty hardcore collector) it works just fine.. thanks for your advice guys, I'll go for it
Let's see some pics! With the price being 75 euros, you shouldn't have even wasted the time coming back here to ask! :smt043
Thats a Duo-R or RX - The white ones. I think antipasta might well be onto an original duo, which is black, so I'd be surprised if it was yellowing! :smt083
Tell you what Anti...give me the sellers info and I'll investigate for you... I'll contact you as soon as I buy it...eerr...I mean get the info for you.
be warned though... original PC Engine Duo can/will suffer from audio issue apparently... D-Lite has looked into the issue and think he's close to solving the issue once and for all... in the mean time make sure the unit doesn't suffer from the audio cut off issue due to overheat... cheers
