What's the hell has Pepsi to do with Playstation to have its logo on Playstation kiosk? I know everything is about advertisement but come on! And when I thought Pepsi Playstation was a weird idea until I saw later this game:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/PepsiMan-Import...2271?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item4157a5419f
Hmmmmmmm! So that explains everything...I guess.

Any informations about Pepsi Playstation Kiosk and Pepsiman?

The only info I found by searching in YouTube is that Pepsiman is a fictional hero from wacky japanese commercial series with Pepsiman and they're fucking awesome. One of the best things I've ever seen after God Hand and Segata Sanshiro. Moreover, Pepsiman makes an appearance in the japanese version of Fighting Vipers:

And last, an awesome Pepsiman reference on Yakitate Japan anime:

    Pepsimaaaaaaaaaaaan!

I think Pepsiman's supposed to be a pretty good game. At that price I won't be playing an original any time soon.

I have been trying to find Pepsiman for around $20 with no luck. It's a simply game but rather fun. You need to collect Pepsi Cans.

Weirdly enough, this is one of the very common pirates in Mexico. I've never, in my whole life, seen the original. But it's a very common pirate down here.

And from what I have noticed in YouTube, Pepsiman has its strong cult following in Latin America.

Personally, I think Pepsi and Playstation are a perfect match (brand wise), both appealed to pretty much the same crowd in the past.

    Not just in PlayStation!!

You'll find Pepsi brands in PS2 Games too!! I am an avid player of the SSX Quadrilogy, and there's upside-down 7up logo's everywhere in those games!!

Makes you wonder about who owns both companies????

Pepsi is owned by Suntory in Japan. There is no Pepsi Japan unlike CocaCola Japan.

If so, I guess it's the main hero of Rent a Hero with Pepsiman costume, am I right?

And speaking for Rent a Hero, I heard a rumor that the Dreamcast version has been released for Europe in Xbox. Is that true?

It was never released (the XBox version in English) however it has been floating around on the internet for some time now. Plays rather well IIRC.

It may have had to do with the Pizza Hut promotion. PepsiCo owns Pizza Hut, so maybe these were displayed in their restaurants.

I've played it quite a lot, it's a really nice short game. Considering it was a low-budget release (2800yen) and only supposed to be some kind of joke to advertise Pepsi in Japan, it's absolutely amazing, I'm not kidding. The gameplay is quite addictive (collecting cans & beating the timer), the voice-acting and fmv-sequences are funny as hell and there's a lot of replay-value once you've finished it for the first time.

90$ is absolutely insane. While the game has indeed experienced some increase in value over the past 2 years due to hype-posts like mine :p ... it's more in the area of 50$ right now. I got mine for 30 Euro or so about 2.5 years back and never regretted it. Don't let the fact that it's a merchandise product fool you, it's a real gem with lots of humor.

I forgot to mention that after writing this thread I downloaded the game to see how good is it. And damn, it's quite good, expecially for a low-budget advertising game. And, of course, it's a game with Pepsiman as the main character so there's another reason that make it so cool. One of my favourite bizzare games I've ever played. They should re-release it on Playstation Network. If I find it on a reasonable price I will grab it without second thought.

And speaking for prices, I can't understand: why some people rise the price of a game after some hype even thought it's not so rare? To give the impression that it's something rare and/or valuable it worths its money?
