http://www.unseen64.net/2011/03/21/perfect-dark-core-xbox-360-cancelled-prototype/ This is pretty old information. It is just unseen64 finally made the post.
That old ass thing? Their was a debug menu too... An older build leaked, Pretty sure it was the same build.
After watching that video I'm glad it got cancelled to be honest. I'm gonna stick my hand up and say I liked Perfect Dark Zero. Still I wish they would have gone with the other concept for Joanna Dark.
I am another person who thought Perfect Dark Zero 'wasn't that bad actually', though the game felt like exactly what is was - a 5 year old game that had been developed over 3 consoles.
I played the demo, laughed, and deleted it immediately. It would've been a minor disappointment on the original Xbox but it was pretty inexcusable for the 360, IMO. Was the multiplayer fun, at least?
Couldn't POSSIBLY have been worse than XIII (multiplayer all but DOA) or Turok: Evolution (though flying on pterodactyls was pretty amusing).
I just liked it, but maybe it was my second 360 game and my first was broken after 5 hours of playtime. now its collecting dust and wanna play again
PD was my fav game on N64, spend it many hours... thanks. Also have the Zero promo here but... Its like the Shadowrun bullshit, MS kills the real game.
Just noticed that image. So let me straight, you're wishing they'd gone with that? The spine curvature is bizarre, she looks like a fucking ostrich or something.
Yeah pretty much. It looks different and more stylish than the one they went with. And not to mention she looks more older and sophisticated.
perfect dark - one of the best game ever pdz - its sucks pd xbla - its fun to play, but wtf with aiming. Its imposible to aim like with n64 pad
Perfect Dark Zero was a good game. Sure, it wasn't as good as the original, but it was still pretty playable. My friends and I spent many hours playing multiplayer - yeah infection was pretty cool! It's main problem was that it didn't really feel like another Perfect Dark. It feels more like they took an FPS, which would have done well on its own, and tacked in Joanna to generate interest, rather than set out to make a sequel. Somewhat like Mario 2.
