Perfect Dark Zero

I searched and found nothing so I'm making a new thread about this. There was a video posted on gametrailers yesterday showing off some in game footage of Perfect Dark Zero on the Xbox 1 and theres more to come apparently. All I can say from looking at it the Xbox 360 version was just this but with HD put on it :/. Frame rates aren't good in this video aswell.

Framerate doesn't look too bad for a version that probably wasn't very optimized. This looks like it would've been a good game for the Xbox.

How did Perfect Dark Zero turn out, anyway? I've never played it.

 

It was a pretty good launch game I thought I used to play online alot when loads of players could be seen online but now hardly anyone plays it unfortunately :-(

 

LOL you do have a very good point there Assembler but I enjoyed playing infection online was pretty fun when there was real people playing instead of bots :nod:

 

I thought it was neat seeing the game had some areas already designed but not polished like they were in the end. PDZ was a good game early on for the 360. There wasn't much choice in shooters at the start. It was pretty much PDZ or Call of Duty 2.

I really enjoyed PDZ on 360. I still play it sometimes with my friends.

 

PDZ was a bad game compared to the original N64 PD!

 

Haha cool interesting video. I think they should have kept it on the original xbox. It was a good game and all but I dont think it was ready for the 360.

Interesting. PD0 is alright but nowadays it just isn't as good, and I find it impossible to control. It's blah vs. N64 one, which is also hard to play nowadays. I hated PD Zero's graphics style and how they changed everything Vs. N64.

 

the video has been sped up. the original frame count can be seen on the top left I believe.

 

The sad thing is the framerate was still probably better than the average framerate you got on N64. I still wonder how the hell we ever played 007 and PD64 with such horrific framerates.

Yeah dude! I'm more interested in this as well, but all the people I ask just say it didn't get past tech demo. I wonder...

They should have kept that kinda design for pdz in my opinion
