http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes1.htm I'm curious to see what everyone will score as. This is based on a "real" personality test, although as it's over the internet you can take it for what you think it's worth. If it's of any consolation my psychology professor told me they're actually pretty accurate, and I hold her in high regard. I've taken it a number of different times and I've only scored differently once, and it was extremely close to what I was before. Anyway, go nuts. I'll post mine after I see what everyone else is
Hmmm I wasn't too sure on quite a lot of the questions, mainly because it's not as simple as Yes or No. I.e.: Q: Do you find it difficult to talk about your feelings? Well for me at least that depends on who the person is, what the feelings are etc? I mean I could easily ask someone out, but telling my parents I've been dating Barc0de for the past 5 months....I dunno
What was the lettering? I'm guessing INTP. How well does it fit you? You are welcome to elaborate on the description... I was hoping for a discussion rather than simply a copy/paste of what you scored. I was pretty amazed when I first took this thing a few years ago and the description of my "type" fit me near perfectly. I don't care to pidgeonhole myself into anything, but it made me feel better. I've always felt kind of isolated from the people around me, so something that described what I couldn't was comforting. @AimBob: I agree. What I did was just go through and give the first answer that came to mind. If I sit there and think about the questions then it becomes harder to answer because I start to think of what context the question is in, etc.
I got ENTJ but reading through ENTJ's I don't tend to fit the pattern. :-/ But anyways I don't need some test to tell me who I am I'm ME =D EDIT: Well I'm the type that sits there and thinks about the question :110:. My friends say I always over analyse things so go figure...actually after reading, that does make me INTP :-/ , bah why did I start doing this quiz now lol
That's right. I don't like saying I belong to X or Y group, either. Not everything will fit in the type description - there are a few things that don't gel with me so much, either. I usually analyze things like that, too, but I just concentrate on not doing that for the sake of things like these
eNTj type! Apparently this makes me a "Fieldmarshal", and as only 2% of the population falls into this catagory I am a natural leader! ''...Fieldmarshals more than any other type desire (and generally have the ability) to visualize where the organization is going, and they seem able to communicate that vision to others. Their organizational and coordinating skills tends to be highly developed, which means that they are likely to be good at systematizing, ordering priorities, generalizing, summarizing, at marshalling evidence, and at demonstrating their ideas...'' Just before you think ''God, this is really going to go to his head'', I kind of already knew this and have often found myself in the position of being put in charge of situations, which makes me think that others around me have clearly observed this personality trait for decades! ''When challenged, the eNTj by reflex may become arguementative'' - sorry Gaijanpunch! ''Few other types can equal their ability to remain resolute in conflict'' - that is completely true, as my solicitor has often mentioned during my protracted family law case. The jobs I am expected to do: Management, Business, Education, Politics, Militiary education (?), Finance, Tutor or Computer Programmer lol: ) Famous eNTj types include: U.S. Presidents: Franklin D. Roosevelt Richard M. Nixon - Oh great! Popular then! Benny Goodman, "Big Band" leader General Norman Schwarzkopf Harrison Ford Steve Martin Whoopi Goldberg Sigourney Weaver Margaret Thatcher Al Gore (U.S Vice President, 1993-2001) - OH GOD, EVEN MORE POPULAR!!!! Lamar Alexander (former governor, US Secretary of Education) Les Aspen, former U.S. Secretary of Defense Candace Bergen (Murphy Brown) Dave Letterman Newt Gingrich Patrick Stewart (STNG: Jean Luc Picard) Robert James Waller (author: The Bridges of Madison County) Jim Carrey (Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask) Steve Jobs - OH F@CK! Penn Jillette Apparently Bill Gates noooo: ) and Napoleon is / were eNTj types! Damn it I am a freak!!!!
