Mine: From top to bottom: Pigsworth, unnamed pregnant guinea pig (thinking of "Wide Load") and twinkie. Now yours.
I have two cats. An all black with a bit of white under its chin called Alice who is roughly a year old and a Orange/brown Tabby called Doris who is just a few months old. We also have a Patterdale Terrier called Jack
I currently have two dogs (Cleo and Malú), and two cats (Lua and Freud), I'll post pics as soon as I take them
Note to people saying Japanese dogs names, inu means er dog. I have no pets being a well travelled guy, not unless you count all the women I leave in every port.
I know, but still, it somehow is the official name of the breed, isn't it? Just to differentiate it from the American Akita.
Well, I have a cat which you can see at the PC KID III review at Hawanjas ultimate console database and her name is Togepi, yeah I know it is a Pokemon name, but it was damn better than calling her laban in Danish, which means rascal. So after 5 minutes of being around her, I began calling her Togepi, but she also reacts on smukke, which lies extremely close to toge part of her name. togepigen (toge girl) and smukke pige .
Used to have half a zoo at home, but now I prefer not to have pets at all.. hairs/smells/crap and the time & money going in to it just isn't worth it if you ask me.
My brother's had two gerbils (which turned out to be really boring, and really, really stinky, so if you're thinking about getting some, don't), I had a budgie. But that was way waaay back - Now, noone in my family has any time left for pets... My mom still has an aquarium but once the last fish dies (yes, only one left) even that has gotta go, but that's OK since she'll still have the neighbor's cat, which stays over pretty much all day and only goes back for food and poopies, a pretty good arrangement imho
A friend had a gerbil. He loved it. Even the stench. He smoked pot with me, and if his parents said his room smelled funny he just blamed it on his pet. Good times.
It is indeed Akita Inu. I don't know about differentiation but my gf's friend had one and didn't know that Akita Inu was basically "Akita dog" in Japanese. Since there is an Akita Prefecture in Japan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akita_Prefecture I've always assumed it was literally, Akita's Dog. Funny what happens when you take a set of words from a foreign language and bring them into English at face value.
there's been cats in my family for as long as i've been alive until some couple years ago now... i live alone with my brother nowadays and ever since our latest cat died we never felt like taking another. there's also the fact that letting a cat in my room which hosts 2 ps2 tools, ps2 test, several retails, ngc, 2 ps3's, snes, 2 ps1's, a mint yaroze and a pile of pc's just doesn't sound so tempting...
I (the kids) have two Gerbils: Daisy and Peach. I'll snap a picture later 'cos they're very cute. They don't really smell either and they're quite entertaining to watch.
No pets for me. 1. Building doesn't allow them 2. My wife is afraid of animals (specially with dogs, she will run or cross the street then pass next to a small dog on a leash). If I could have a pet, I would have a cat (scottish fold or orange tabby). I grew up around animals and I kind of miss having a cat.
