Phantom is for real...

The memory sounds abit low for something thats running windows xp. Also after it is hacked to be used as a norm pc i would want abit more then 256mb...

You forget that the x-box only has 64 mb of ram and a geforce3 graphics card.

But look at oncoming games like halo2 and doom3 you can't run those on a normal 733 mhz P3 with 64 mb of ram and a geforce 3 card but the x-box can because everything is designed for the hardware without a big OS and such to suck up all the systems power.

Same goes for this system because games are made especialy for it, the power of the machine can fully be used on the games.

 

You guys are forgetting the main thing it'll be hacked for --- emulation!

 

Yes, because nobody wants an unoptimised copy of Lemonade Tycoon running on their Phantom...

 

SilverBolt i dint say i was worried about it playing games i said i was worried about the memory once they hack it to be used just as a normal pc.

Probably not (same reason as Xbox?), but I wouldnt be surprised if they're too cheap to have entirely removed it entirely so maybe a little soldering can help you
