Phantom Universal Install Problems

ok, so I installed the modchip, everything worked. tested before I assembled the saturn back together, and it wont work when the saturn is assembled. If i have it open (the console) it works!

its been driving me insane for the past hour. I checked all the cables, and nothing is touching. everything is on as it should be.

Have you had a look at the sensor that tells the console whether the lid is shut or not?
My personal console must of been worked on beforehand and the metal around it was bent, now it only boots discs from a console restart, im not able to swap discs without power cycling the console first. Maybe you have the same kind of problem?

 

ok, figured it out. the cable that connects to the motherboard to the MB portion of the chip, was a bit loose. I connected everything again and its now working.
took me a while to figure it out. i think something mau have been blocking a connector. not sure. all is well now. just really weird it wasnt working when it was sealed, and it worked fine once opened...... lol

 

Maybe the case was pushing on the wire?

 

I checked everything. Nothing was being pushed or squished. I just have bad luck with these things lol
