BREAKING NEWS! After so many years we finally, FINALLY have gameplay footage release of the holy grail of unreleased Atari Jaguar titles Hopefully, somebody who has a prototype of this title NEEDS to dump this online! Tetrisphere fan present here
Hmm, not a huge Jaguar fan but the video makes me wonder if there's even more CES 1995 video the guy has. Could be even more treasures in there
There's also footage of Conan The Barbarian by Arcade Zone in it as well, since this was filmed by Don Rogers for his Orlando Trial release The guy playing it is actually one of the founders of the National Videogame Museum, John Hardie
Wow. I had always heard the Jaguar version was faster paced than the N64 version because you couldn't drag pieces and the focus was solely on dropping with a shorter placement clock, instead of constantly dragging around pieces. I guess this is just a demo level but it's not as fast as I imagined. I like the drag and drop style the N64 version shifted onto, but still it's very cool seeing this in motion
There's a thread on Atari.io about Phear. Apparently, according to the original poster of that thread, even after Nintendo snagged H2O for Tetrisphere, Phear was fully finished. What surprises me the most is that the version shown here was nearly complete. It even has wireframe mode, which is just awesome Well it was a new game for the guy playing it but the Tetrisphere dropping skills are fully applied here
Another rarity has appeared and this time, it's in the form of Conan/Konan/Conan The Barbarian by Arcade Zone
