Despite the fact the Wii is outselling it across the board. I love how nobody is bound to the truth anymore.

 

Even if you account for the difference in pricing the Wii is pounding the PS3.

peter moore killed the dreamcast and is tring to make up for it with the 360. Looks like a weasel. Phil Harrison is the poor mans j allarad. They just announced the 600 dollar blueray player which is lacking the ps3 parts. I think sony has a plan but i don't think both feet know which direction to start moving in. If sony realy wants people to like them again they just need to be honest and stop tring to be so sheik in sony style crap. The only country that cares alot about what sony does is japan. These are the last days of rome for sony. Beware the ides of march.

PSP needs to be dropped to $150 for the core unit. I think it will help improve system (psp has been $200 core/ $250 bundle for too damn long).

 

it is because they are so smug. What happens when you have a bunch of assholes running a division. If they would allow me to run them i could turn the image around but hey they never asked for my input and they never will cause they don't like their fans or people that might want to buy their hardware.

And even that is slipping. Sharp kicked the shit out of them in flat screen sales when the Aquos came out. Not sure about now, but I think Sharp are doing extremely well here. Don't think Sony is.

Actually Sony are making large profits on Bravia, which is supporting the start up costs of the PS3.

YEah, not been keeping up w/ the numbers. I do know that the continually have the most expensive product on the floor (and it usually looks worse than the others to boot).

 

Sony Bravia is no where near as good as the Sharp Aquos. It cost more, looks worse and probably (no proof) will dies sooner. I'd buy a Panasonic Viera over a Sony Bravia if I couldn't get a Sharp Aquos that is.

Sharp are certainly an excellent manufacturer in my experience, but always go for a product based on its individual merits.

 

regardless sony is shooting themselves in the foot every corner. Give me one year and i could turn the ps3 around and sony attitude. But like in every company no one has the balls to admit when they made mistakes. The biggest problem is they have fools like Kaz phil and the japanese eddie munster running the show.

 

This weeks Dorimaga (Game mag in Japan) did a special Feature on TFT televisions and guess who wasn't in the top 3, yep you guessed it. One interesting point they showed was the difference between D1, D3 and D5 inputs. I have no idea if these are Japan only inputs (Sort of look like a mini VGA connection) but the difference in quality is staggering so make sure if you are going to buy a new HDTV that it has D5 inputs or the equivalent..

it is not a VGA connector, as in DB, it's unique to its own category from what I understand. The video within it is Component though, so 1080p over D-terminal (D5 can do 1080) is the same as if u had it over component on US TVs. Which brings up the question, why the hell do people complain about Component's quality compared to HDMI at 1080p resolutions? If Yakumo is impressed by D5 which is in fact analogue, I see no reason for the fuss!
