I was clearing out some stuff I needed to get rid of and came accross some old Zzap 64 magazines and on the cover of one was a weird looking TV called a Philips 'Your TV2'.

I tried searching for info on it but google brings up nothing, has anyone ever seen one before? I presume it went into production because it was offered in a competition..

I am living in Philips country but never heard of it, sometimes they make these weird things in limited editions but usually they have a short lifespan and stay unknown to the masses.

Yeah, the TV was real. I saw one in the UK once. Just like most Philips stuff though, it was F*ing ugly and short lived.

I presume it didn't actually fold away or anything and was CRT as opposed to LCD?

Still, I think it looks cool (probably just me  )

No, it was just a fancy design in the plastic - and that picture has had a bit of 'touching up'.

They were OK televisions AFAIR, but just average fair.
